My friend and cameraman extraordinaire, Matt Smith, asked if I could help participate in a short film. Having previously worked with him on 48 Hour Film projects and loads of side projects, I know his writing style: he LOVES killing off people. This project of his was pretty unique, however, because he wrote a small storyline to support the different camera angles he wanted to shoot.
I was tasked early on to do the special effects with the gunshot and blood splatter, but the dynamic angles of the shots are what really pull viewers through the story. Despite this still being in its draft form, I feel it's a pretty strong piece.
